Katie Price 'terrified' after petrol station abuse

Katie Price has reportedly been left terrified after she was verbally abused by a group of workmen at a petrol station.

The glamour model-turned-businesswoman "cowered with fear" after three National Rail employees hurled obscenities at her while she filled her car at a location in Surrey, The People reports.



"The men were really going for it," a source said. "They were calling Katie the most abusive of names. It was absolutely disgusting.

"It was obvious she was really, really frightened. She went from minding her own business filling up her car to a gibbering wreck. It's not often that she can't stand up for herself but these men were being totally out of order.

"She immediately got into her car and was close to tears. Her friend put her arm around her to comfort her."

The insider added that a young girl who approached Price for her autograph had been caught up in the incident.

"What made it worse was that there was a young girl with her mum who witnessed it all. She was in floods of tears," they claimed.

"It was awful to hear the men use such vile language in a quiet family town and it was such a cruel thing to do. Katie wasn't harming anyone. It was an utter disgrace."



Network Rail bosses and Surrey Police are said to be looking into the attack.

Price recently increased security at her home after a kidnapping threat earlier this year.
