Jodi Gordon has revealed that Braith Anasta proposing to her was "natural" and "real".

The 26-year-old Australian actress, who is best known for her former role as Martha MacKenzie in Home and Away, announced her engagement to the Sydney Roosters captain earlier this year.

Gordon told Who magazine: "[The sexiest date I've ever been on] was the proposal, of course. The way he proposed was very natural and real. It was just about us and setting up our future. There was something sexy about that."

She also described rugby league player Anasta as "the sexiest person" she knows, saying: "It sounds clichéd, but it's because I know what's on the inside as well."

Gordon, who was recently named one of Who magazine's 'Sexiest People 2011' said that she wants to play someone "a bit crazy and rough" because her recent characters have been "more mumsy".

Shortly after Anasta proposed to Gordon, he said that he loves nothing more than "coming home" to his partner, while she has previously described him as "incredibly loving, determined, smart, sexy [and] intelligent".
