Chelsea Handler: 'I'm not on the prowl for a new man'

Chelsea Handler has insisted that she is happy being single.

The Chelsea Lately host, who recently split from boyfriend Andre Balazs, said that she is happy being single and has never rushed into relationships.

"I'm in a happy time in my life. I'm not on the prowl. I've never been on the prowl. I do like men, though," Handler explained during an interview on Piers Morgan Tonight.

However, she went on to say that she has a definite idea of the type of man she is attracted to, revealing that she prefers independent men who do not expect too much from her.

"I like to be challenged. I like men who have something going on. I like men who are successful, who aren't very dependent on you," Handler added.

"I like for them to bring something to the table that you haven't brought to the table yourself. And I like them in small doses."

Handler recently signed a $25 million, two-year deal with E! to continue Chelsea Lately.
