Guy Sebastian's pregnant wife robbed while driving in Sydney

Guy Sebastian's pregnant wife Jules Egan has been robbed while driving around Sydney.

Egan, who is due to give birth to the couple's first child in March next year, had stopped at a set of traffic lights when a man opened the front passenger door and grabbed her belongings off the seat.

Sebastian later wrote on his Twitter page: "Jules was just driving down McEvoy St in Alexandria and someone jumped in the car and stole her purse and phone. What are we turning into - downtown LA?

"Couldn't care less about the purse or phone (except the hassles of cancelling cards etc). Just glad she's okay. Can't believe we have to worry about locking doors etc while driving here. That's a bit sad. Cops are fingerprinting car etc. Let's get him!"

Sebastian, who is a judge and mentor on the Australian version of The X Factor, then joked that the offender "definitely won't be getting any of [his] ticket allocation to the live X Factor shows".

The singer's two protégés Reece Mastin and Johnny Ruffo last week made it to the final three contestants in the reality music contest.
