The Australian singer and presenter, who recently shed 30kg with the help of her fitness instructor boyfriend Rich Harrison, said that she has learned who her real friends are in the past year.
Coulter told the Herald Sun: "From the beginning of last year, I started coming to a few realisations about the people that were in my life and that they were toxic and I needed to move away from them.
"Some people take advantage of generosity. People try and make you something that you are not, and some people bring out the worst out of you and some people bring negativity. I'm brutal now. You get one chance and if you mess that up you are gone."
Coulter joked that she now feels "like Oprah" because she is always advising her friends to split from partners who hold them back in life.
"I encourage people who are in crappy relationships to break up. It's a beautiful thing," she said.
Coulter recently admitted that losing weight is "not easy", but added: "In every sense of my life, everything seems balanced and together. I'm very very happy."
