Gillian Anderson has announced that she is pregnant, only a few months after leaving her husband.
The X Files star decided to tell her friends after passing the 12-week mark in her pregnancy and the likelihood of complications had dropped, The Mail on Sunday reports.
Anderson split from her husband Julian Ozanne in April after a marriage lasting sixteen months. At the moment she is supposedly living in London with the director of a lucrative wheelclamping firm, Mark Griffiths.
The actress' former husband refused to comment when asked whether she was pregnant. Her spokesman also avoided the issue, with an e-mail stating: "It is not our policy to comment on a client's private life. We know, however, that you would like to congratulate her on her Emmy nomination for Bleak House and great continued professional success."
