Abbey Clancy: 'I want my daughter with Peter Crouch to be a popstar'

Abbey Clancy has said that she does not want her daughter with husband Peter Crouch to become an athlete.

The fashion model and the England footballer welcomed their first child together, Sophia, back in March.

According to the Daily Mail, Clancy said that she would be happier if Sophia explored her early musical talents instead of following in her father's footsteps.

"Sophia will probably be good at sports, but I don't want my daughter to be a football or basketball player," she said. "She's very musical and loves playing the tambourine - she has daily music lessons... I'd be happy for her to be a popstar."

Clancy previously described giving birth to Sophia as a "horrific" experience.

She and Crouch married at a church ceremony in Leicestershire back in June.
