Beckhams rekindle romance in Italy

David and Victoria Beckham are currently enjoying a romantic break in Italy as a belated seventh wedding anniversary celebration.
The couple, who are holidaying on a £20 million yacht leant to them by fashion designer Roberto Cavalli, have been seen cuddling and being affectionate by many locals.
Friends of the high-profile pair have attributed the renewed closeness to a shift in the dynamics of their relationship following England's World Cup experiences and David's subsequent resignation as captain.
A source told the Daily Mail: "David has been very low and withdrawn since the World Cup disaster and he has really depended on Victoria. They have spent hours on end talking, drinking wine and holding hands as they try and work through his sadness at England's performance. For the first time in a long time, he is not the adored hero and his confidence is at an incredibly low ebb."
In the past observers have labelled Victoria as the more dominant partner in the relationship, but the failure of her solo career seemed to have altered the balance until now.
The source added: "And, unlike the way he belittled her when she was feeling down, he has really been touched by the way she has been there for him. She is discussing a big deal with Roberto Cavalli and she has even been joking with David that it is his turn to take a breather because she is hoping that soon she will be in a position to support him."
