Dornan accepts blame for Knightley split

Jamie Dornan has acknowledged that his failings contributed to his split from Pirates of the Caribbean star Keira Knightley.

The couple were together for two years, but Dornan has admitted that there were problems from the start as her ever-increasing career success made him feel "second rate".

He told Contactmusic: "If the person you are in a relationship with has more power in terms of occupation, they don't want you to know they feel like that. They don't want to think, 'Oh, he must find it really awkward because I make loads of money.'"

However, the Calvin Klein model says that he failed to achieve this. "So, you have to try to keep that to yourself and still be the man in the whole thing, which I didn't do very well," Dornan noted.
