Brand: I'm a sort of Jedi pimp

Russell Brand has called himself a "Jedi pimp", among other bizarre names, in an attempt to describe himself.

The comments came in an interview with the Radio Times, during which Brand claimed his rift with Bob Geldof had not been sorted yet.

Geldof insulted Brand at the NME Awards this year, calling him a "c**t", and has not yet apologised according to the presenter: "I think it was an abominable thing to say. I was mentally ill. I was a drug addict. I nearly died. I don't see how that's befitting of that word."

But it didn't take Brand long to get back on track in the interview, using his renowned style of humour in an effort to place his character: "A sort of Jedi pimp. S&M Willy Wonka is another one and a Chitty Chitty Bang Bang-style child catcher that's attracted to adult human females."
