Jennifer Hudson denies break-up with fiancé David Otunga

Jennifer Hudson has denied that she and fiancé David Otunga recently separated.

Hudson cleared up speculation on her future with Otunga this week when she assured Access Hollywood that the pair have not called off their engagement.

"We're going to get married. I know they said we had broken up. We're never broken up," Hudson said.

The Oscar-winning actress explained that the pair haven't been seen in public much together recently because she is working on a film project and Otunga is touring as a WWE superstar.

"We're still here, but we're very busy people. He's always on the road, I'm always on the road," Hudson commented. "We are together, we just do it at home in Chicago. That's our meeting place… Our wedding will be at home in Chicago, with family."

Hudson and Otunga, who got engaged in 2008, welcomed a baby son named David Jr in August 2009.

In September, Hudson opened her own weight loss centre in Chicago to help overweight kids develop healthy eating strategies.
