'Vampire Diaries' Ian Somerhalder: 'Black Friday is crap'

The Vampire Diaries star revealed that he believes the day of shopping prevents families from spending time together on Thanksgiving.
"What I'm not grateful for is the midnight black Friday crap (sic)," Somerhalder tweeted. "Thousands of families are missing out on family time."
He added: "Stores should be ashamed. Family Is all we have, the foundation of our country and our world.Just my 2 cents,may not matter but I said it."
Somerhalder is currently dating his Vampire Diaries co-star Nina Dobrev.
The Vampire Diaries will return on Thursday, January 5 for the second half of its third season.
