Former 'NSync member Bass has recently revealed he is gay, and Timberlake has pledged his full support to his friend.
Justin released a statement saying: "Lance is one of my great friends. I support him and wish him all the happiness in the world."
Bass used this Wednesday's (26 July) issue of People magazine to make his announcement, and also explained his decision to keep it quiet during his time in the band: "I knew I was in this popular band, and I had four other guys' careers in my hand. I knew that if I ever acted on it or even said (that I was gay), it would overpower everything."
