In June, the Spider-Man actor was sued for playing unlicensed poker games with jailed criminal Bradley Ruderman.
The group of investors have demanded payments after Ruderman wasted $300,000 (£193,000) of their money to Maguire during several games. However, Maguire has now agreed to pay a large sum of money to remove himself from the case.
Bankruptcy trustee Howard Ehrenberg said that the poker settlements total $1.7 million (£1.1m), and that Maguire's payment is the same amount as others who have settled.
Ehrenberg told The Hollywood Reporter: "He did not end up with any better settlement than the others."
Maguire signed a document on November 22 stating that he "strongly disputes that he violated any laws, rules or regulations in regard to participating in the poker games".
The actor had allegedly said that he shouldn't have to return his poker winnings in July.
