Regis Philbin, Jimmy Kimmel share Jordana Brewster's old gum - video

Regis Philbin and Jimmy Kimmel shared a used piece of old chewing gum on Monday night.
Philbin was appearing on ABC's Jimmy Kimmel Live! when the host played a clip from Philbin's appearance on the show five years ago where fellow guest Jordana Brewster stuck her old gum on Kimmel's desk.

At the time, both Kimmel and Philbin chewed the gum.
On Monday night's show, Kimmel produced the old gum - apparently saved by his producer - and after having a go chewing it himself offered it to Philbin who initially pretended to throw it away before popping it in his mouth.
"Boy that's hard!" joked Philbin. "I just lost two teeth!"
Philbin also spoke about his final Live! With Regis and Kelly, which aired earlier this month. The 80-year-old announced in January that he was departing the programme after nearly 29 years on air.
When asked by Kimmel if he had been savouring the final show or had been happy for it to end, he replied: "I was ready for the whole thing to be over. The kids worked awfully hard on my staff to put together all those memories that I'd frankly forgotten about, 28 years worth of stuff, going through tapes.
"I was glad to have that day come and say goodbye."
As for reports about his next move - which have included a possible primetime family talent show - he said: "I haven't really made my mind up yet."
Philbin is currently promoting his book How I Got This Way.
