Samantha Ronson's Los Angeles home burgled

Police reportedly were called to Ronson's Venice, CA house last night when thieves tried to break into the DJ's garage, reports TMZ.
The alleged burglars were not able to get inside the property, but apparently did steal an item worth more than $1,000 (£639).
It is not yet known whether Ronson was home at the time of the attempted break-in.
The star's home is right next door to a house owned by her former girlfriend Lindsay Lohan.
In August, Ronson was arrested and eventually charged with driving under the influence in LA.
