Olympic Gold medalist Lindsey Vonn divorcing husband Thomas Vonn

The downhill skiing champion has confirmed that she has begun legal proceedings to end her marriage after four years.
Lindsey said in a statement to The AP: "This is an extremely difficult time in my personal life and I hope the media and my fans can respect my need for privacy on this matter."
The two became a couple after Thomas replaced Lindsey's father Alan Kildow as her coach.
The Vonns have no children together.
Since her Gold Medal triumph at the 2010 Olympic Games in Vancouver, Von has landed a role on Law & Order and won a 2011 Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Award for 'Favourite Female Athlete'.
