Usher's ex-wife Tameka files for full custody of children

Usher's ex-wife Tameka Raymond has filed for full custody of their two children.

The former couple divorced in 2009 after two years of marriage, and have since had a joint custody agreement for 4-year-old son Usher Raymond V and 3-year-old Naviyd Ely Raymond.

However, according to court documents obtained this week by TMZ, Tameka now claims that Usher has not upheld his responsibilities as a parent and wants a judge to remove his custodial rights.

She has accused him of several offences, including failure to notify her when travelling out-of-state with the kids, failure to gain her approval before hiring nannies and failing to allowing her first refusal on watching their sons when he is in need of child care.

Usher allegedly refused to allow her to take the children for two weeks during the summer of 2011 as well as the previously agreed-upon timeslot of Christmas break 2010.

The documents also featured a complaint that Usher had closed Tameka's Saks 5th Avenue credit card, despite promising that he wouldn't. The singer is also said to owe $34,000 (£21,791) in back payments for a nanny hired by his ex-wife.

Finally, Tameka claimed that Usher's "substantial change in [Usher's] income" since their divorce implies that she should receive more child support.

A hearing in the case is scheduled for Wednesday (November 30).
