'Glee's Kristin Chenoweth: 'I still want to find a husband, have kids'

Kristin Chenoweth has said that she still hopes to marry and start a family.

The frequent Glee guest star revealed that she has not given up on love and believes that she will find the right man for her.

"I'd love to have a husband to have a child with. It hasn't exactly worked out that way, and that's okay," the 43-year-old explained in a new interview with monthly lifestyle magazine Prevention.

"I would still love to have that partner, that man - that right one who's going to take care of me yet let me do my thing, yet has his own gig going on, yet isn't intimidated!"

However, Chenoweth said that she understands her lifestyle is not necessarily conducive to meeting new romantic partners, adding: "Showbusiness can make you so self-focused, even if you're not that kind of person.

"Since I wasn't married and didn't have a child, I needed something to take care of. So I got a dog."

Chenoweth previously said that she would consider adopting children if she did not find a husband to have them with.
