Noel's dumped lover speaks of "betrayal"

Noel Edmonds' ex-girlfriend has admitted that she feels "very betrayed" by the star.

The Deal Or No Deal presenter dumped French lover Marjan Simmons after deciding that he couldn't commit to a long-term relationship.

Simmons claims that she supported the 57-year-old as he tried to rebuild his television career, only to be discarded after Noel found success with the Channel 4 game show.

"I thought he really loved me and what we had was very special," Marjan told The People. "But it seems he was just using me at a time in his life when he felt vulnerable. Once he was back at the top he didn't need me any more. I felt he just discarded me.

"He was a hypocrite who used me to make himself feel more positive about himself - then abandoned our relationship when he managed to make himself famous again. I feel very hurt by Noel, very betrayed. I did so much for him and at the end of the day he disrespects me."
