Jessica Simpson, Eric Johnson disagree over sex of baby

Jessica Simpson has said that she thinks her baby will be a girl.

Simpson sparked pregnancy rumours back in September, and finally confirmed that she is expecting her first child with fiancé Eric Johnson in October.

Johnson, however, disagreed with Simpson's prediction.

He told People: "I think it's a boy. We're pretty much at a standstill there."

The couple said that they plan to find out the gender of their first child before the birth.

Johnson shared: "I don't think we can wait. Jessica is too honest about everything, she needs to know. I don't think she can hold that secret to herself."

Simpson recently revealed that she is happy with having a boy or a girl "but it's definitely not twins".

The couple have postponed their wedding until the birth of their new baby.
