Kris Humphries wants annulment to talk about Kim Kardashian split

Kris Humphries is reportedly looking to annul his 72-day marriage to Kim Kardashian so that he can talk freely about their relationship.

The basketball pro wed Kardashian in a lavish California ceremony in August, but the reality star filed for divorce on October 31.

Humphries filed annulment papers in Los Angeles on Wednesday (November 30), apparently seeking to end his marriage on the grounds of fraud.

However, sources now claim that Humphries has sought an anulment in order to nullify a confidentiality clause in his and Kardashian's prenuptial agreement.

"The confidentiality aspect of the prenup is extensive and was created just in case things went bad, neither Kim nor Kris could discuss their relationship to the media," the Daily Mail quotes an insider as saying.

"Kris wants to be able to talk about the relationship without fear of being sued... Kris is getting excellent legal advice. If the judge annuls the marriage, they were never legally married, and the prenup at that point is really moot."

Kardashian herself has reportedly said that she "doesn't want a battle" with her ex-husband.
