Edmonds "disappointed" by ex's claims

Noel Edmonds is "disappointed" by his ex-girlfriend's decision to sell the story of their relationship.

In an interview with a Sunday newspaper, published yesterday, Marjan Simmons described her shock at being dumped by the Deal Or No Deal host, as well as revealing that he was a "tender lover".

A friend of Noel's told the The Mirror, "When he found out she had gone public, he was shocked and disappointed. He has consistently said he wasn't looking for anything serious and his priority is his family.

"Noel is into positivity and now recognises that ending the relationship was the right thing to do. He doesn't want to be with anybody who will break his trust, which is what Marjan has done."
