Lisa Curry, Joel Walkenhorst "in the honeymoon stage"

Lisa Curry has revealed that she and her younger boyfriend Joel Walkenhorst still act like honeymooners.
The 49-year-old Australian former Olympic swimming champion and recent Celebrity Apprentice contestant got together with 29-year-old musician Walkenhorst in 2009 after she split from husband of 24 years Grant Kenny.
Curry told New Idea magazine that the couple are very happy together, saying: "He's very special to me and I feel content to have him in my life.
"We've been together for over two years now and still feel we are in the honeymoon stage. We're in a really great place right now and just really enjoying each other's company."
Walkenhorst added: "How old we are isn't important. Lisa's age has never been an issue for me. You're with someone because you like the person, and she's not only gorgeous looking but young at heart, always up for fun stuff. I like taking care of her and I love her."
Curry admitted that Walkenhorst is fighting urges to become a father, saying: "It's amazing seeing how clucky Joel gets around babies. He's great with kids and would make an amazing dad one day.
"Sure, the conversation has come up about kids but we are both neither here nor there at the moment."
The star already has 25-year-old Jaimi, 21-year-old Morgan and 17-year-old Jett with Kenny, but the athlete has reportedly been caught up in a bitter battle with her ex-husband over her house. Friends have claimed that Curry feels "humiliated" and "worried" about Kenny's underhand tactics.
