A spokesperson for the Diddy Dirty Money star revealed that he underwent an operation to repair a nagging ailment, reports E! Online.
"Diddy had minor surgery on his shoulder to fix an old injury," his rep told the website.
The rapper has been spotted attending a series of public events in Miami with his right arm in a sling as he continues to recover.
Last week, Diddy's son Justin Combs received a full scholarship to play football at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA).
Diddy has also recently been linked to Cameron Diaz following a number of public dates.
