'Freaks and Geeks' Linda Cardellini: 'Pregnancy is a crazy miracle'

Linda Cardellini has described her pregnancy as a "crazy miracle".

The former Freaks and Geeks star and boyfriend Steven Rodriguez announced in October that they are expecting their first child together.

Cardellini has now claimed that the first few months of her pregnancy were among the roughest of her life, but said she's finally beginning to feel like herself again.

"Morning sickness was terrible the first four months. It was awful," she admitted to Access Hollywood. "I was kind of a monster!"

The Super actress added: "Now I feel great, and it's amazing and I can feel kicking and it's a totally unbelievable experience. It's a little bit like Alien in science fiction and then also it's a crazy miracle."

Cardellini declined to reveal the sex of the child, but did say that she and Rodriguez have already picked out "five different names" for their baby.

The couple's baby is due in early 2012.

Prior to her relationship with Rodriguez, Cardellini dated former Freaks and Geeks co-star Jason Segel for several years.
