Lady GaGa to discuss anti-bullying campaign at White House

Lady GaGa is to attend a White House meeting on childhood bullying later today (Tuesday).

The 'Marry The Night' singer will discuss her Born This Way Foundation's tolerance campaign and other social issues with Obama Administration officials in the US capital, according to The AP.

President Obama will not be able to attend the meeting because he is travelling to give an economic address in Kansas.

GaGa has previously revealed that she was a frequent victim of childhood bullying, including an incident where she was thrown in a trash bin by a group of boys.

The popstar launched her Born This Way Foundation in November in order to promote "a brave new world" where individuality and acceptance are embraced.

GaGa also recently confirmed that she has already begun working on the follow-up to her chart-topping album Born This Way.
