'New Year's Eve' Abigail Breslin: 'I cried upon meeting Zac Efron'

Abigail Breslin has revealed that she cried after meeting heartthrob Zac Efron for the first time.
The two co-star in the new film New Year's Eve, but never met during its filming because they had no scenes together.
Breslin admitted that when she finally came face-to-face with Efron while promoting New Year's Eve, she simply couldn't hold back the tears.
"I met Zac Efron yesterday, and I'm just going to say, I cried a little bit afterwards and beforehand - just a little bit. It was kind of a big deal; it was kind of major," she told CNN.
Breslin went on to say: "I heard he was in the same building as me, so that's what first brought on the tears. And I think everybody here saw me cry a little bit. And then I went in to meet him, and I was like, 'No, no, no, I can't do this'. But he was so nice!"
When questioned about the meeting, Efron said he had "no idea" that Breslin was so nervous.
"She played it off really well," Efron commented.
New Year's Eve opens on Thursday (December 8) in the UK and on Friday (December 9) in the US.
