Brooke Mueller wants all drug charges dropped

Brooke Mueller's spokesperson has said that all drug charges against her should be dropped.

Mueller was arrested on suspicion of felony cocaine possession in Aspen, Colorado over the weekend, but was released from jail when her $11,000 (£6,995) bail was reportedly paid by ex-husband Charlie Sheen.

Steve Honig, Mueller's representative, insisted on Thursday that lawyers are currently working to have the drug case dismissed.

"[Brooke's lawyer Yale Galanter] will vigorously defend Brooke with the goal of having all these charges dropped once the facts of the case come to light," Honig said in a statement to People.

Honig also denied that the arrest will have any affect on Mueller's child custody agreement with Sheen.

"The children are remaining with Brooke. Both Charlie and Brooke's mother have offered to support Brooke in any way they can," Mueller's rep said.

Mueller has battled substance abuse in the past, having entered a Mexican rehab this past summer for medical treatment.

Sheen and Mueller finalised their divorce in May.
