The wrestler has claimed that the accounts of abuse in Linda Bollea's Wrestling the Hulk - My Life Against the Ropes are a lie, reports the St Petersburg Times.
Bollea also claims that her former husband - whose real name is Terry Bollea - had homosexual encounters with another wrestler.
Hogan's lawsuit claims that his ex-wife's book is an attempt to revive her "sagging career".
He said that the claims have damaged his career and is demanding a trial by jury and a halt to his ex-wife's comments.
The couple divorced in 2009. Linda Bollea was recently awarded over 70% of the pair's assets in a settlement agreement.
Linda also claimed that she was afraid for her life in the book.
