Tori Spelling: 'We were surprised at having a baby girl'

Tori Spelling has confessed that she was surprised to give birth to a baby girl.

The former Beverly Hills, 90210 actress welcomed her third child, a daughter named Hattie, with husband Dean McDermott in October.

Spelling revealed that she wanted the child's gender to be a surprise but the baby's older siblings, 4-year-old Liam and 3-year-old Stella, made their choices clear.

"We didn't find out what we were having - we thought we were going to have a boy. So we were really surprised when we had a girl. Stella wanted a girl and Liam wanted a boy," she explained to People.

"Then I think once we had a girl, she was like, 'Wait a second'. But now she loves it because her thing is that she picks out [Hattie's] clothes - she styles her."

Spelling recently insisted that she was not upset by a nude photo Dean accidentally posted on his Twitter page which showed her topless.
