Baldwin dressed as American Airlines' 'Captain Steve Rogers' on the show's segment Weekend Update with Seth Meyers.
The sketch had 'Captain Rogers' apologising to Baldwin, in which he said: "I am ashamed at the way he was treated. I mean, what harm would it do to let him keep playing his game? Not just any game, mind you, but a word game for smart people."
Earlier this week, Baldwin was kicked off an American Airlines flight for not turning off his phone when he was asked to by a flight attendant.
The actor has since apologised to his fellow passengers for the incident.
"I guess the fact that this woman, who had decided to make some example of me while everyone else was left undisturbed, did get the better of me," he revealed.
