Audrina Patridge has revealed that she focused on her relationship with boyfriend Corey Bohan after her decision to leave reality television.

Patridge, who appeared on MTV's The Hills, had her own reality show on VH1 called Audrina. The show was not renewed for a second season.

"Filming a reality show really takes a toll on relationships because your mindset is to create good TV," she told People. "It's hard on relationships, so after the show, Corey and I really worked on what was going on with us. We spent time together."

In September, the star announced that she was moving away from reality television.

Patridge added: "I took five to six months off to just relax. With seven straight years of filming, I didn't really get time to organise my house or do things for myself, so I just took some time off. I moved to the beach."

She also revealed that she is excited to get back to work next year with some projects that she is currently working on.
