Kelly Osbourne and Miley Cyrus have urged Twitter to remove cyber bullies after the reality star was subjected to abuse on the site.
The Fashion Police presenter used the social networking site to slam a user who sent "disgusting" messages to her and her mother Sharon Osbourne.

Kelly proceeded to retweet the offending post, at which point her friend Cyrus defended the family on her own profile and argued that more needs to be done to combat 'cowardly' messages of hate.
"I'm so sorry @mrssosbourne and @MissKellyO for the abusive tweet," she wrote. "I don't think it's right for people to use twitter to...abuse and harass others. Just cause your hidden behind some computer like a coward doesn't mean this isn't bullying.
"So @twitter if you could please start removing people...to help #STOPCYBERBULLYING It shouldn't be tolerated!"
When followers started supporting her tweet, Cyrus continued: "So proud of all my fans responding to my last tweet!!You guys will make a difference! Take a stand! Let's trend #STOPCYBERBULLYING."
Kelly went on to express her gratitude for Cyrus's actions, writing to the ex-Hannah Montana star: "i love you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
The 27-year-old previously came to Cyrus's defence when the actress apparently admitted to taking cannabis in a leaked video.
