Angelina Jolie: 'Brad Pitt and I cooked our own Thanksgiving turkey'

Angelina Jolie has revealed that she and long-time partner Brad Pitt cooked Thanksgiving dinner for themselves and their six children.

Appearing on Anderson Cooper's chat show Anderson, the In the Land of Blood and Honey actress confessed that the couple were "proud" of their culinary efforts as neither had ever attempted to make such a large scale meal from scratch.

"Brad and I decided we were actually going to make the turkey and we were very successful and very proud of ourselves. We did it!" Jolie said. "This was just the two of us with the kids watching trying to pretend we knew exactly what we were doing."

However, Jolie insisted that family dinners are not a new affair as they always make sure to sit down and eat together daily, regardless of where they might be.

"We actually have family dinner every night. We make a point of it. It's crazy. There's a good five minutes where everybody is quiet and sitting together and then it starts to break off," she explained.

Jolie recently confessed that while she and Pitt are not actively trying to conceive, she may become pregnant again in the future.

She has said that she does not have many girlfriends and only really talks to Pitt and her family.
