Ashley Tisdale 'splits from boyfriend Scott Speer'

The Hellcats actress began dating Speer, a music video director, in 2009.
The split between the couple was said to be mutual and amicable.
"They had been on and off for a while. They tried to work it out but realised their relationship ran its course," a source told US Weekly.
Earlier this year, Tisdale denied rumours that she was involved with High School Musical co-star Zac Efron, insisting that they were just friends and branding media speculation as "stupid rumours".
The rumours originated from photographs of Tisdale and Efron celebrating her birthday at a Malibu beach house in July.
Last month, Tisdale scored a cameo on the Fox comedy series Raising Hope.
She is expected to appear in the show's Valentine's Day episode playing a love interest for Jimmy Chance (Lucas Neff).
