Kid Rock hands out meal gift cards to the underprivileged

The 'All Summer Long' musician is to give away 1,200 gift cards throughout the holiday season to needy families.
Each $25 voucher is redeemable at a local grocery and supply store, where the recipients can use them to buy both food and hampers.
Kid Rock will hand-deliver the gifts over the next week and will also give some to local radio stations for their listeners.
He played a pair of homecoming concerts in Detroit earlier this year, backed up by Sammy Hagar and his Wabos.
Kid Rock was born in Sterling Heights, Michigan, but launched his music career in Detroit as a teenager.
