Katie Price, Peter Andre to reconcile?

Katie Price and Peter Andre are reportedly discussing a reconciliation for the sake of their children.

The ex-glamour model and the singer have organised to take 6-year-old Junior, 4-year-old Princess, and Price's 9-year-old son Harvey on a family trip in 2012 after exchanging "emotional phone calls", sources claim.

Such an event would mark the first time that Price and Andre have been seen out together since their divorce in May 2009.



"They're ready to move forward together and have discussed being seen in public again," an insider told The Sun. "It'll be day trips with the children - working things out generally and taking those important steps to improve the relationship."

However, the source ruled out suggestions that the former couple are hoping to get back together, saying: "It's not romantic - but they know there'll be speculation."

Andre revealed last month that he are Price are "trying to be friends", later commenting that they both wanted a "happy environment" for their children.



Despite this apparent confirmation of a truce, Price and Andre have both branded a superimposed picture of themselves together on the cover of OK Magazine - complete with the headline "Katie and Peter - spending time together at Christmas" - as a fake.

Price retweeted posts from her model agency Black Sheep Management's official Twitter saying: "The picture on front of OK! today has been faked. Katie and Peter are not spending time together this Christmas. That claim has shamefully caused deep upset to Junior who saw the front page."

Andre, meanwhile, wrote on his own profile: "Just having my morning coffee and seen a super imposed picture of me and Kate on the cover of OK mag. A little cheap I think. C'mon guys."

Price paid undisclosed libel damages and issued a formal apology to Andre earlier this month over comments she made about the 38-year-old in the wake of their divorce.
