Jackie editor-in-chief Eva Hoeke has stepped down from her post following criticism of a "racist" article the publication ran about Rihanna.
The Dutch fashion magazine published a piece referring to the singer as "the ultimate n***abitch", sparking a backlash from fans as well as the star herself.

Rihanna took to Twitter to condemn the Jackie article, posting: "I hope u can read english, because your magazine is a poor representation of the evolution of human rights! I find you disrespectful, and rather desperate!! (sic)
"You ran out of legit, civilized information to print! There are 1000's of Dutch girls who would love to be recognised for their contributions to your country, you could have given them an article."
She continued: "Instead, u paid to print one degrading an entire race! That's your contribution to this world! To encourage segregation, to mislead the future leaders to act in the past!
"You put two words together, with the intent of abasement, that made no sense..."N***a bitch?!.... Well with all respect, on behalf of my race, here are my two words for you... F**k YOU!!!"
Hoeke apologised on behalf of the publication, and has since told BBC Newsbeat that the remark was intended as ''a joke", adding that it was "stupid, painful and sucks for all concerned".
Rihanna previously described suffering racial abuse in Lisbon, where she said she encountered "the most racist [man] ever" at a hotel.
