Lady Antebellum star Dave Haywood engaged to girlfriend Kelli Cashiola

Lady Antebellum's Dave Haywood and girlfriend Kelli Cashiola are engaged to be married.

The singer popped the question on Monday (December 19) after planning an elaborate proposal ceremony, Haywood's rep told People.

Haywood picked Cashiola up from her Nashville office and then blind-folded her until they reached her home, which he had decorated with holiday ornaments.

After taking off the blind-fold, he brought his girlfriend outside, where he'd strung Christmas lights spelling out "Will you marry me?" on the front of her house.

Cashiola did indeed accept Haywood's marriage proposal, but a wedding date has not yet been set.

Haywood and Cashiola, a record executive, only publicly acknowledged their romance last month, but the couple have been friends for many years.

In July, Haywood's Lady Antebellum bandmate Hillary Scott became engaged to her longtime boyfriend Chris Tyrell.

Lady Antebellum resume their North American tour on January, 27 in Tulsa, OK and on January 28 in Des Moines, IA.
