George Michael released from hospital

The 'Careless Whisper' singer checked out of AKH hospital earlier today and will take a flight home to London ahead of the Christmas holiday, reports Austria's Broadcaster ORF.
Michael fell ill and was hospitalised in Vienna before a concert in Strasbourg, France in November.
The pneumonia proved so severe that Michael was forced to cancel the remainder of his 'Symphonica' tour.
His boyfriend Fadi Fawaz suggested last week that Michael would be home in time for Christmas because he was feeling "better and better" each day.
A hospital spokesperson was not as optimistic about Michael's possible hospital release this week, but the star's condition apparently greatly improved in the past few days.
Fawaz has not yet commented on Michael's release.
