The Chinese Labour Watch produced a report earlier this week alleging that Chinese workers as young as 16 have been working in unsuitable conditions to produce clothing and accessories, including those from the socialites' K-Dash by Kardashian label, the Kris Jenner Kollection and ShoeDazzle.
An organisation official told TMZ that the environment at the factory is "horrific", adding that temperatures in the building often reach close to 100 degrees Fahrenheit and that the air smells of sewage.
In addition, workers are said to clock up to 84 hours per week, earning the equivalent of only $1 US per hour.
Kris Jenner, the mother of Kim Kardashian, Kourtney Kardashian and Khloe Kardashian, denied the allegations, telling the website: "As far as I know the factories that are used to manufacture the Kardashian clothing and shoes have nothing terrible going on at all and the factories are very well policed and meet factory standards."
However, Jenner admitted that she has never visited either of the two factories which produce their clothing and accessory lines.
Kylie Jenner and Kendall Jenner recently announced plans to launch their own jewellery line.
