Matt Damon: 'Barack Obama has let down his supporters'

Matt Damon has complained that US President Barack Obama has missed his opportunity to create significant political change.
The We Bought a Zoo actor campaigned for Obama in the 2008 presidential election, but has since admitted to being disappointed with the leader's term of office.
Damon has once again criticised Obama's job performance in a chat with Elle, where he accused the president of letting down his supporters.

"I've talked to a lot of people who worked for Obama at the grass-roots level. One of them said to me, 'Never again. I will never be fooled again by a politician'," Damon told the magazine.
"You know, a one-term president with some [nerve] who actually got stuff done would have been, in the long run of the country, much better."
The star added: "If the Democrats think that they didn't have a mandate - people are literally without any focus or leadership, just wandering out into the streets to yell right now because they are so pissed off. Imagine if they had a leader."
Obama has also been criticised recently by the politically active Pink Floyd star Roger Waters.
Waters offered advice to Obama: "Please, Barack Obama, roll your sleeves up and do something and stop trying to pander to everybody."
The president can still count among his supporters former West Wing actor Martin Sheen, who has said he's impressed by Obama's handling of foreign and economic policy.
