Lindsay Lohan 'Playboy' spread a good move, says dad Michael Lohan

Michael Lohan has said that he is "happy" with daughter Lindsay Lohan's Playboy magazine spread.

Lindsay appeared fully nude in the publication, photos from which were leaked online earlier this month, forcing Playboy to push the release date forward.

Appearing on Dr Drew's Lifechangers, Michael said that Lindsay's decision to appear in Playboy was a positive one as it means she is getting her career back on track.

"If she's happy with it, I'm happy with it. It's a move in a direction where she's working… so as far as I'm concerned it's a good move," he explained.

However, Michael insisted that he has not seen the photos himself, adding: "I haven't seen it and I won't look at it. I've never looked at it. I heard it's 'classy'... she did some movies that were a little risque at times and I couldn't even go to the movies and watch them."

Lindsay has commented that her Playboy shoot gave her confidence and allowed her to feel good about herself as a woman.

The magazine's founder Hugh Hefner has said that the issue is breaking sales records and has continuously sold out at newstands across the country.
