Lindsay Lohan turns down New Year's Eve party offers

Lindsay Lohan will apparently be spending New Year's Eve at home with a few close friends.

The Mean Girls star has turned down multiple offers to host a big New Year's Eve party, TMZ reports.

Lohan is reportedly afraid that a large celebration could derail the progress she is making in her sobriety battle, and hopes to avoid any temptation.

The actress recently posed for Playboy. Her father, Michael Lohan, deemed the shoot "a good move", adding that he is happy for her as long as she is content as well.

Earlier this month, Lindsay was awarded a modelling contract off the back of her naked Playboy photo shoot.

The 25-year-old has claimed that the spread gave her confidence.
