Jon Bon Jovi death hoax fan: 'I was frustrated but I was wrong'

A man named Jeffery Goho has revealed that he was behind the recent Twitter hoax of Jon Bon Jovi's death.
The Pennsylvania native confessed that he started the death rumours after he became frustrated with the singer for stepping away from his band.

"All I heard was 'Bon Jovi this', 'Bon Jovi's starting a restaurant'. What was the latest one? The Advil commercial?" Goho told the Ashbury Park Press.
"It was like, 'Jeez, [Bon Jovi] was a household name due to the music, not the business'. So I'm not proud of it. I'm getting a lot of backlash from it, but as stupid as it sounds, that's how it started," he said.
Goho went on to say that he received a number of negative responses from fans once they realised that Bon Jovi was still alive. Ultimately, he admitted that he was wrong to judge the singer.
"After reading everyone's responses I realised that his endeavours, his business endeavours, have actually made the tri-state area prosper," Goho added. "Hence more musicians have more available places to go, more people to play to, and I was quite wrong."
Bon Jovi recently opened a charity restaurant called The JBJ Soul Kitchen in New Jersey.
