Footballer Wayne Rooney, who this year had a hair transplant, came third in the list.
Rooney previously topped Brylcreem's 'Worst Hair' poll in 2004. Other past winners have included Simon Cowell and Pete Doherty.
McFly drummer Harry Judd, who won this year's Strictly Come Dancing, topped the parallel poll for the best celebrity hair of the year.
He was followed by Prince Harry and Peter Andre.
