Supermodel Alessandra Ambrosio confirms pregnancy

Supermodel Alessandra Ambrosio and fiancé Jamie Mazur are expecting a baby together.

Ambrosio first found out about the pregnancy in September and surprised Mazur with the happy news on his birthday, according to a Brazilian magazine.

The Victoria's Secret model told Us Weekly: "Family is the most important thing for me and I'm thrilled to be adding to the family.

"I'm fortunate to have a loving and supportive family. It's a blessing that it will soon be growing."

Mazur and Ambrosio are already parents to one child, 3-year-old daughter Anja.

Ambrosio strutted the catwalk at last month's Victoria's Secret Fashion Show, which featured an all-star lineup of performers including Nicki Minaj, Maroon 5 and Cee Lo Green.

Aside from her modelling work, Ambrosio serves as an ambassador for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
