Debra Messing dating 'Smash' co-star Will Chase?

Debra Messing has apparently begun dating her Smash co-star Will Chase.

The former Will & Grace star announced her split from husband of ten years Daniel Zelman earlier this month. The couple continue to live together for the sake of their 7-year-old son Roman.

According to Us Weekly, Messing and Chase began their romantic relationship last month and have already become serious, with Chase reported to have left wife of two years Stephanie Gibson.

"Debra and Will have been together for about six weeks. She is completely smitten with him," a source told the publication.

However, the insider went on to insist that the couple's relationship was not the cause of the dissolution of Messing's marriage to Zelman, adding: "Will didn't break up Debra and Daniel. It was over before she met Will. [She and Daniel] continue to live together with their son, then gradually transition into a new living situation."

Messing and Zelman have said that they have no plans to divorce right away.
