Michael Lohan 'rushed to hospital for blood clot in lung'

Michael Lohan has been rushed to a local hospital after collapsing during a meeting.

Lindsay Lohan's father is said to have fallen ill while at an Alcoholics Anonymous meeting in Los Angeles and was immediately taken to the nearest medical facility to receive emergency treatment.

"Michael started to feel light-headed during his meeting so he walked outside, and that's when he collapsed," a source told Radar Online.

"He was taken in an ambulance to Palm Beach Gardens Hospital where doctors found another blood clot in his lung."

Lohan was then given an unknown medication to prevent the clot from spreading, as well as MRI and CAT scans to assure it had not already done so. The 50-year-old is said to be waiting for test results and is unsure when he will be released.

Last month, Lohan was rushed to hospital after experiencing chest pains and was due to undergo emergency heart surgery, which was later postponed after doctors found the first clot in his lung.

He later underwent a procedure to have a stent put in his heart.
